Education
Empowered with knowledge, skill, and understanding, we positively influence future generations and confront ignorance at its source.
Multicultural by birth,
not by choice.
Empowered with knowledge, skill, and understanding, we positively influence future generations and confront ignorance at its source.
An eternal bond among men of different cultures — sealed by hard work, sacrifice, and the courage of every member.
A racial and cultural utopia — a microcosm of a unified humanity, defended by men who refuse the easy answer.
A commitment to the community as a whole — donating time and effort through public involvement and unflinching participation.
On December 12, 1990, eighteen men from diverse backgrounds reached the final stage of what would become Psi Sigma Phi Multicultural Fraternity.
Before 1990, male college students in New Jersey were limited by the available choices — African-American, Asian-American, Latin-American, and "traditional" fraternities were the predominant paths. Our Founders felt the need for an organization that not only offered a bond of unity and lasting friendship, but a fraternity that would emphasize the importance of multiculturalism in the lives of today's college students.
Co-founded at Montclair State University and what is now New Jersey City University, Psi Sigma Phi has since maintained its own identity among Greek-lettered organizations — an eternal bond of unity defended by men committed to multicultural awareness.
A 501(c)(3) non-profit officially founded in 2019 in Jersey City. We work directly with the homeless and low-income populations across New Jersey, Utah, and Philadelphia — clothes, water, toiletries, donations of every kind. When you work with us, you see exactly who we impact.
"Servicing our community, inspiring the change we wish to see — creating a bond through shared experience."
